How do I setup my BarkQR account?
When you purchase a tag, you will be able to upload a photo and add contact and/or medical information. Your pet’s information will already be entered in BarkQR when your pet tag is mailed to you. You can edit your information on your own after you receive an email with your BarkQR login information.
What if I have a problem? Or what if I’m not great with computers?
We aim to be the most user-friendly smart tag provider in the world.
When you purchase a BarkQR tag, you will receive an email from a real person at BarkQR. You can always reply to that email at any point to receive personal support.

Is BarkQR only for dogs?
Not at all! You can use BarkQR tags for anything. Cats. Luggage. Kids’ backpacks. Anything that would normally have a tag can benefit from our smarter, personalized tags.
Can I still add my phone number to a BarkQR tag?
Of course! Since our tags are personalized, you get to decide what text to display on the front of the tag. You can still display your phone number or address if you want to.
If my pet is lost, how does someone use the BarkQR tag to contact me?
When someone finds your lost pet, they can scan the code on the back of the BarkQR tag with the regular camera app on their smartphone or tablet.
Then, they will see your pet’s profile page along with whatever contact and medical information you entered.
What if the person who finds my pet doesn’t know how to use a QR code?
We thought of that, too! You can solve this in two ways.
First, you can always put some of your contact info on the front of the tag.
Second, we put a direct web address underneath the BarkQR code on the back of the tag. Someone can type that into their web browser and see your pet’s profile page. Try out this web address barkqr.com?qr=T3STY

You can order a replacement tag and we can use the same information you already entered for your pet.
