Box Fan Air Filter

Using a standard 20″ box fan and 20x20x1 HVAC air filters, you can have extra indoor ventilation and air filtration. This was originally created during a particularly smoky fire season in Colorado. Any 20x20x1 HVAC air filter will work, but the higher quality filters will provide drastically better filtering. We recommend filters with a MERV-13 rating, as they can remove smoke, allergens, and possibly virus particles.
