Custom Model for Gift: Jerusalem Cross

This is a custom-designed multi-layer cross commissioned as a gift. The layers of the cross were drawn in Inkscape and then converted to a 3D-printable STL file. This enabled more artful curves instead of a boxy design.

The Story of the Jerusalem Cross

This was inspired by the story of the Jerusalem Cross from the 11th and 12th centuries. As the story goes, Christians came to Jerusalem from all different parts of Europe. Despite their different cultures and backgrounds, they were able to rally behind the Jerusalem Cross. The larger cross symbolizes Christ, and the four smaller crosses are the four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John).
